For Highlife Productions, there was no greater opportunity to showcase our philosophy than the wedding of our founder and Creative Director, Tyler Hollinger, and his wife, Lauren Maffettone.

Rather than viewing the celebration as a single evening, we approached it the same way we design every unforgettable experience for our clients—with thoughtful storytelling, immersive hospitality, seamless logistics, and moments that guests would remember long after the weekend ended.

The result was a destination-inspired wedding experience that unfolded over several days, blending timeless elegance with relaxed coastal charm and creating an unforgettable celebration for family and friends.

The Vision

Inspired by late summer on the East Coast, the couple envisioned a celebration that felt like an entire weekend escape rather than a traditional wedding.

Drawing inspiration from classic country clubs, coastal resorts, and relaxed beach communities, the design embraced effortless luxury with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encouraged guests to slow down, connect, and celebrate together.

Every event throughout the weekend was designed to build anticipation, creating a seamless guest journey from arrival through farewell.

A Wedding Weekend Experience

The celebration extended far beyond the ceremony itself, transforming the wedding into a thoughtfully curated multi-day experience.

The itinerary included:

• Welcome Golf Tournament for family and friends.

• Friday evening welcome reception.

• Morning beach 5K hosted by the groom.

• Wedding ceremony and reception.

• Late-night celebrations and surprise guest experiences.

• Farewell pancake brunch.

• A relaxing beachfront mini-moon following the festivities.

Rather than treating each event independently, every experience was intentionally connected through consistent hospitality, thoughtful design, and personalized details that reflected the couple's story.

Designing the Experience

The visual direction combined polished elegance with relaxed coastal sophistication.

The palette featured rich late-summer greens accented by brushed gold, polished silver, soft blush tones, and vibrant seasonal florals.

The culinary experience celebrated abundance and hospitality with:

• Fresh raw bar presentations.

• Classic filet mignon and lobster entrées.

• Seasonal passed hors d'oeuvres.

• Interactive late-night bites.

• Signature cocktails.

• Elegant desserts and sweet treats throughout the evening.

Every menu, tablescape, floral installation, and guest touchpoint was designed to feel elevated without ever feeling formal—creating an atmosphere where guests felt both celebrated and completely at ease.
